WHY I WANT A DEGREE FROM UTSA

I did not originally want a degree from UTSA. I was a member of the CAP program and fully intended to transfer to UT Austin after my first year here at UTSA. However, I was born and raised in Austin and after being away from home for a little bit, I realized that I didn’t want to move back in with my parents and go back to the same town that I spent my entire life in. I also realized that while UTSA doesn’t have nearly as much buzz as UT Austin, it is still an amazing university that offers the same degrees with the same credibility. UTSA definitely was not my first choice, but I don’t regret deciding to stay here.
